1. Hope and Trauma Healing Programme
The program of hope and trauma healing is very important for the Circle of Concerned African Women Theologiansas it brings hope and healing to the victims of GBV to share the painful stories.
A pastor’sconference held in KireheDistricton 23 to 24 October 2024 to be trained on how to create a space for the victims of GBV and youth with the compounded vulnerabilities. It was found that the Church as a community of hope where those who are hopeless found hope and be listened. Furthermore, it was realized that most teen mothers have been discriminated, rejected by their families and even stigmatized by the communities.
So, providing, safe spaces at the church is most important as it give them healing and they feel accepted by pastors, church members and Jesus who heals the broken hearts.
